Thread: Ron spoomer outdoors podcast

I like Ron’s podcast. The Hunt Backcountry with Exo guys is one of my favourites. The Hornady podcast is good too. There are a few including Remi Warren…but I’ve gone off the meateater one (too many speaking at once).

The Vortex podcast is my favorite. I'll look into some of the others. Ron doesn't do a whole lot for me but he's probably on to it.

I like “beyond the kill”. It’s sheep and mountain hunting focused for NA but applicable more broadly. Often has great guests. Every second cast is about fitness, health, injury repair and management to keep guys participating.

If find The hornady guys are very annoying at times. Can be very Captain obvious types.

Ron used to write for Handloader and Rifle and his dry wit came out in a lot of his articles. I remember a couple of the satirical ones that were excellent.

He has some good observations, but its like being talked to by your Headmaster.

I understand what you mean. It's like he's explaining things to a bunch of kids. But if you can put his style of delivery aside he has alot of good information and knowledge.

I'd like to see what he says about the 9.3x62. Only curious as it's another close range big hitter that you can cast for pretty easily. Not too many for sale here in NZ

Who_tee_who is another good watch, tho not as informative as Ron
