If you're reloading try some of the blitzkings too. key phrase - explosive hitting power!
If not sure try some of the ADI outback factory to try it out if you like (same projectile).

The scope is absolutely amazing for the price! I watched birds in the garden with it last night as the light was fading whilst playing with Adjustable objective. I can see why vortex is popular at the moment.
How do you like the predator? What price is the scope?

Any will do mate... They're like a tikka but better quality, better design, better feel, better to look at and cuddle and shoulder but best of all they're nothing like a Tikka.

Last time I saw an A7 I thought it was a Savage Axis at first glance, the stock is very similar!

Sorry to burst your bubble but they use the same barrels as Tikkas and on average don't shoot any better, in fact the Finnlites can be a really pain in the butt to get shooting. The bedding system in these is unnecessarily complicated to say the least.

Sorry not been on for a few days, haven't had chance to fire it yet but it seems nice enough, definitely a budget rifle, not as slick as my Howa 1500 which says something. But I think it will get better with use. Dual cocking cams means the bolt needs to be worked pretty lively which I am not used to.

The scope is fantastic! I got it from Shooters Supplies in Christchurch and they had it on Sale at $349! Its a bit bulkier than the lower power ones but I want the rifle for bunny splatting so I want to be able to see small things at decent distances.

Will see if I can sight it in this week and try some loads. I will also pick up some of the outback 55gr sierra blitzking and 69gr sierra matchking stuff as well, keen to try a few weights of projectile.
