That one was from GC Christchurch, they listed it on Trademe and a mate sent me the link knowing full well I wouldn't be able to resist it! It shoots incredibly accurately and with very impressive consistency. Check out these 15 x 5 shot groups shot at 50m while adjusting the scope, and that's just with cheap bulk ammo

Well Done on the Biathlon! Been looking myself for a few yrs. I would settle for the Sabel/ Sobol version or at a pinch the SV99.
I ended up with the Ipssc version and it itches that scratch.

My Russian yarn
I had the dreaded baikal o/U 12 gauge. Man did they have tight chokes. I could take rabbits clean, out to 60 yards. One night I was shooting with another guy that only had a 22. He got really annoyed at me,must have snatched a dozen from under his nose before we separated onto our respective blocks.
