Eezox all day long. Handles Stewart Island and the West Coast of the South Island.
Fairly harsh conditions.
Crc long lIf Big plus 1 on this had mine sorted at Dads for well over a year with this on it. In the past it’s had surface rust, now with this no worry’s. Brought some back with me to the uk. Have had it applied inside my side lock S04 same no rust. Water gets in there on the really wet days and that can really cost you as a service on this is £124 and upwards.
It's all fun and games till Darthvader comes along
I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.
I too use and like eezox . I have the aerosol can . But the only thing is it has a very strong smell and stays on your rifle. I don't mind the smell but it is quite powerful when you want to spray it on your rifles inside the house haha

Kroil. Marine penetrating oil. Excellent on exterior metal work and bores alike. Inox is also very good.
Used inox type product for a long time. Worked well. But wanted someting to leave between stock and action. Using lanolin grease.sticks like sh1t to a blanket. Smells more natural than a lot of oils.
In retrospect I reckon any grease would be ok.

A bit more bang is better.
Yep lanocote in the bore. Used it on workshop gear in storage and remarkable protection......cleaned off easily with kerosene so can see no reason it would not be OK in a bore.
The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese....
I have a small hole drilled in top of safe and a light bulb down the bottom so no humidity in the safe. Plus Inox. Has worked well for a decade plus.

This is exactly what I do with BP rifles.
Ballistol is a great BP cleaner but not as good for protection. Eezox however is exactly that. Recently Ive started using frog lube as a rust preventative under the woodwork. Too early to tell if its better than eezox but the reviews were good. Oh and it smeels great, oil of wintergreen I believe.
Lanox either in a spray can, or a mister bottle. I use it a lot so got a 4L bottle of the stuff.
Keeps rust off my fishing hooks used in the sea without having to wash them, so is definitely up to the task.
Eezox has made a big difference once I started using it, I live right by the sea, and I only own blued rifles.
