I had a scope situation where I used the plus 20s on the bottom of rings front and back and the -20s on top to get a scope to clear the barrel just.....
I then had to grind a groove in the bottom of the scope cap so that it would fit.

Unfortunately, if you want to take advantage of the cant, you need the minus on the bottom at front and plus on the bottom at the back, which will tilt the front of the scope closer to the barrel.
