Iv had a play with them. They are nice. You can get whatever caliber you want. If you want something more obscure or not very popular then they may not be in the country yet though. Took one in .300wm with me to a meetup the other night. That’s a more manly caliber than 6.5x55 could ever hope to be

Someone who is dead set on having a finnlight 2 in 6.5x55. If you are not too bothered about either of those two points then the world is your oyster.
My comment was in response to your comment that “they can’t even get a man a 6.5”, which is incorrect. A man can order one in 6.5 if he wishes. It’s just not a very popular round despite a vocal minority.

Don't fall out over me Gentlemen please.
I already have a Finnlight in 6.5x55 and as I said on the other thread my wife will be happy I'm not now getting another.

Gosh though, if Beretta are saying it is a unpopular caliber they must be right, surely.

All I’m saying is in comparison to other calibers it sells very little . For example .308 probably outsells it by 2000%, 7mm-08 by 1500%, 7mm mag by 1200%. If the calibers people buy are a reflection of popularity (even when it is available ex stock in 6.5x55), then it’s not very popular. I personally think it’s a great caliber though.

    Yeah seems funny though Chris
Sako themselves make 5 different factory loading for the 308, 2 different types of factory ammo for the 6.5x55 and None for the 7mm 08.
Norma make 9 different loads for the 308, 7 different factory ammo loads for the 6.6x55 and 2 for the 7mm 08.
Maybe they know something we don't.

Anyway don't get to upset I'm only pulling your leg, It's good to have you one here but I gotta say, this is better than shark fishing .
