Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

Rifle - probably the best lever action design built, there are issues but I like them alot
    Yep

The 300 savage was the parent case for the development of the 7.62x51 Nato/ 308 Winchester cartridge.

    Cheers

They're about the only lever action rifle I like! Never used one but read up on the design at one stage, waaay ahead of their time with the rotary mag etc.

If you clean the dirt out of that oval hole on the left side of the action you might find a little counter tell you how many rounds are in it? Think they have a wee pop-up cocking indicator on the rear part of the action too.

They are just so sexy! And you know full well I'd like one. Don't think I want to bring one home just yet; Mrs gadget would probably turn into the 'green eyed monster' if I got caught with something with those curves in my arms.

Couple of rounds through it will take care of the crap in the barrel.

You will be surprised just how accurate they are. I ran one for 8-10 odd years and it was a sub MOA rifle in 308 with reloads. Rear locking action which can be a tad hard on cases and I used to full length size every time. They do have a tendency for the butt stock to start cracking behind the tang and I have one on the bench now that is just holding together. Its really split.
The rotary mag is fairly bullet proof and even though the experts say not to play with it, it can be done if you have any mechnical nouse

In that case you would be pleased to know that the new heart meds may give me a new lease on life.
