I'm looking forward to hearing how they get on with a slightly shorter barrel and a can, fingers crossed it doesn't mess with the delayed blowback

They look good huh. I like the look of the stock and the larger bolt handle.

    These do look cool.

Delayed blowback like an H&K MP5.

Will have to keep them clean, mixed reports from the states accuracy wise. Will be expensive to run compared to a bolt gun due to ammo comsumption.

Look like a good trigger and nice bolt handle. Rotary magazine is a plus too.

Looks like they can be had for around $849.

Dam missed that one at Reloaders. At $850 I might pass for the moment, $729 would be a little more passable (have to sell my current rifle).

Had a play with an A17 yesterday, my first impressions are not very favorable unfortunately. A mate brought one out that was being reviewed and needed some game for a photo shoot.

It cycled perfectly, however only if you supported the rifle with your hand under the mag otherwise it would it would miss feed the 2nd round consistently as the rear of the mag would drop slightly. Bolt ejects the spent case, misses the rim of the round in the mag and catches the round half way up the side of case causing it to jam (seems common problem when googled).

    A few other random observations,
    Seemed very "plasticy" and "cheap".
Magazine was a pig to load compared to a 10/22.
Trigger was however better than a standard 10/22.
Mag was very easy to remove, maybe too easy.

Also managed cop a bit of crap in the face during firing, most likely unburnt powder, would pay to wear eye protection.

These are just my own opinions and experiances of the A17 that was on test. I knew next to nothing about them until yesterday so I was a bit shocked to see what they retail for.

I have suppressed probably 1/2 dozen so fare. Customers seems happy. Mechanism is reasonnably well finished and adjusted inside. Boydstock makes a laminated stock for it. It would improve from the plastic ones. Strong action with two action screws and a free floating barrel. A lot of good ingredients for good accuracy.but I have not shot one yet .
