I have three of these in PST. Have shot stuff (blue pheasants) at 200 to 250 meters with .204

Seriously the magnification above 16 to 18 is pretty useless IMO. Heat haze kills it or its too hard to hold still without a back sand bag.

Or its just not quite right !!

You sorta think 24 x woo hoo but its not the case. 18 x is pretty good though. My HD5 is OK at 25 but the mates night force leaves that behind.

I d buy another HD5 first..
