    short lee

Almost started down another rabbit hole. At least this one has the right bolt head lol.
Not too bad really considering the rear sight (and it looks like some philistine took to the notch with a file). Barrel is a bit naff. ah well
be nice if it had the sliding charger guide. South Australian apparently
edit. apologies for some of the pics being around the wrong way. they were like that on the phone but seemed ok when I was looking at them on the puter.

If anyone has some input on the markings, it would be appreciated.
Also if anyone has one of the sliding chargers guides hiding away, i would like a chat, although these are harder to find than unicorn poose.
Ive been in touch with a guy in the US that is going to start doing repros later in the year but not cheap.
He said the last few he has got have come out of aussie and even though a good few of them are nearly buggered they still want serious coin for them

The sliding charger guides are like unicorns!! It might be a good candidate for a restoration. Woodsets are available from Canada.

Could be. First would be the guide and maybe one day the barrel depending on how it shoots. Can't see me restoring it.
Have another one that i probably shouldn't have got that doesn't have the right bolt head.
Worst case is the representative I was talking about but between the exchange rat and freight it will be up past 150 bucks.
I may even see what gear we have at work and have a Crack at making one. PITA though
