The only reason you need that much "performance" is if you can not be bothered learning how to shoot. You would just be getting familiar with the load and set up, I mean really familiar, then barrel off, start again. What a godawful pain in the arse.

Better to have something where the round "dribbles" out the barrel, and actually learn how to shoot it, than just waste money and barrels on something that rips its self to pieces five minutes after you put it together.

Lots of fearsome rounds about, that will tear an elephant in half and have good barrel life and are easy to shoot. Horribly overbore magnums are all kinds of pointless. What difference does it make how far you have to wind the elevation turret? Its completely irrelevant. Speed has very little influence on wind bucking ability, compared to BC. Better a slow moving super high BC big bore, you have a chance of growing familiar with before it disintegrates.
Pointless arguing with the man that's never wrong and your ways are set in stone.

It's like some some owning a performance car to a little Hondamatic its all personal choice, so who really cares?

That was 2 lands chases again what's the price of a barrel for performance and 700 was that one some more some less its alot of dead animals in a hunting rifle

My ideas have never been set in stone. I shot super overbore 7mm mags like 5 years ago and thought "whats the point". Tried it, thought it was silly, moved on. Best part was, they were not mine. If your selling them, and people are buying them, then people clearly disagree with me, and good on them.

Each to their own. I will point out, your the one whining someones opinion differs from yours.
