Thread: sideways bullets

It's a function of speed, as the bullet slows down the rpm decreases and gyroscopic stability is lost. Think of a child's top, as it slows it starts to wobble (precession) then falls over even though it's still spinning slowly. Bullets are no different to tops in that regard.
