    My bil put a tawa dowel in my old Sako Hunter which swivel hole had got loose by injudicious use of oil on the stock.Flushed it off and screwed in the swivel. Never moved again. Just putting new swivels on my sons 44 mag. But have sealed the stock with Truoil and Armourall mix.
