Pretty sure you will find that Swarovski optics are manufactured in Exclusively in Austria.

One of the benefits of buying high-end stuff is that their customer support tends to be significantly better than the run of the mill variety. You get to speak to a knowledgable person rather than some flunky in a offshore call-centre.

For Swaro, a simple google search for "swarovski optik nz manager" will get you the name of their local rep.

Or, even easier, go to the Swaro website and look up the NZ agent details, JP's email and mobile number is listed there.

P.S. JP is a top bloke and is a regular competitor and sponsor of field shooting events.
JP at Swarovski Optik NZ is the top block!! My old x5 scope was sent back to factory for repair due to a small problem. After the long wait(due to COVID-19)it came back to NZ, JP inspected the scope before sending it to me. Guess what? I got his phone call saying he is not happy about the repair and he gonna send me a brand new scope instead!! Their customer service are top class!

I'm pretty sure the Swarovski Z3 series rifle scopes are assembled in the USA. The parts are made in the Swarovski, Tyrol, Austria factory. Swarovski North America has a very good reputation and uses factory trained technicians.

Well I was in contact with David Duprez, Area sales Manager, KAHLES Australia and New Zealand on the 13/2/24 re my Kahles 10x42 bino for repair via email. So had them couriered to his address in Lower Hutt after our online chat. NZ Post tracking had them delivered to the address provided on the 15/2/24. Never heard from him again to confirm received - twice I emailed him, latest earlier today. His silence is golden. Couldn't locate a phone contact online. Kahles/Swarovskis now share the same NZ agent. The waiting game.....

Appreciate the feedback. Hoping the bino's are on their way to Austria instead of sitting on a shelf? And if they arrived at all with him. But yeah maybe he's in the field himself...
