I've owned two, still got one - 3-24 x 42 with a FML reticle. It's reliable, accurate in clicks and reticle, light and fantastic to look through. The FML works at both ends of the scale, and I only sold my other March to standardize on the FML reticle. Of course, bills..... but I'll replace it when the loose change tin gets back into shape.

It is a little fussy at the top end, but in real terms I never noticed any problem - I like to take the long shots on deer at 12-14x, so there is plenty of FOV to find it again after the shot. 24x is awesome for long range magpies and the like though.

    I'd say do it.

Have March 2.5-25x42 on my 7mmBM - absolutely brilliant scopes. As OP stated above eye box gets pretty tight at 25x, but in hunting situation I'm very rarely going to crank up mag past 20x. Nf are damn fine scopes but too big and heavy imo, and optics clarity wise I've found them not quite as good as euro glass or March for that matter. Also agree with @Moa Hunter, the Swaro z3 4-12x50 with ballistic turrets & windplex (4w?) reticle would be a great fine match for a SAUM.

Considering it is now well into November I wouldn't be looking at a March for a few months yet mate.

If you want to hunt Bush and using low mag you want the FML reticle. The reticle is .1mil so gets quite big at over 20x

I have a March 2.5-25 on my Forbes 280AI. It is a very good scope with ED glass. I had a Swaro Z6i 2-12 and that still is the best glass I have looked through. I love the NF MOAR reticle and read on the forurm the NX8 has the same quality as the ATACRs but has shaved weight. That glass is right on the heels of the swaro and the turrets are still arguably the best in the business. An NX8 would be worth a look alongside the sleek March.

Was looking at the swaro 3.5-18 z5 but the fact that ypu only have 12.5moa with the zero stop in is a real deterrent.

fit after market 2 turn turret (guy in BOP does them Element Industries), remove zero stop (see YouTube) and you got 14moa per turn x 2= 28moa should get u far enuf, yeah ?
Fit a 20 moa rail or 20moa inserts on Burris Zee rings and your 2oo zero will be less than 1/2 turn from bottoming out - so not really any issues in loosing the zero stop.

13.25, but yes, it is a bit limiting if you’re hoping to dial beyond 6-700yds.
They are exceptionally lightweight and awesome for an ultralight rifle... but I wouldn’t call them robust. They are very long and on a short action, there is a lot of tube hanging forward of the front ring.
    Get the 42mm March.

@robhughes-games if you come up to North Canty I'll take you for a look for some fallow and you can try out the March scope on them and/or out to 600y on the gong.

I see the NX8 2.5-20x50 is 802gms and March 2.5-25x52 is 665gms. My ATACR 4-16 benched at just over 850gms.

These guys are great and an honest review. Some concern with the reticle use/visibility at lower zoom (FFP). This is an advantage with the March (SFP).
