good point. Maybe they're not as patient or as well versed in machining? Someone mentioned mitigating risk of breaking gear and rogering chamber.
Machine time is expensive as well and some may find its not worthwhile.

Only musings as apart from being child labour in my parents engineering shop for 10yrs I have no direct experience
