Thread: Trademe bidding

I'm not 100% sure where to post this but.... Has anyone had problems bidding on firearms on TM? I tried bidding on 2 rifles and for some reason TM only accepted one bid! All the details were entered correctly.... I'm now a grumpy old bugger tonight!

I’ve had issues. I think my problem was the name on my Trademe account didn’t match the name on my firearms licence.

Trade Me are a strange bunch, one needs to give them a FAL number even to just ask questions on listings yet one can sell firearms on their site without a FAL registered with them but anyone asking questions must have a FAL registered with them to do so.

There were two mint Parker Hale 303's for sale, but both went for more than my limit anyway. But it was frustrating not to be able to bid at all!
