hey everyone just thought i would ask a couple questions about the bergara b14s. i was wondering weather you are able to top feed them like you can with a sako. also what does everyone think of them and rate them?

You can't top load the detachable mags. The earlier ones came with a Rem 700 style floorplate and you can easily swap out the detachable mag bottom metal with one of these if you prefer.
There is a lot to like for the price - mine has a great trigger for a factory rifle (better than the Timney on one of my other rifles) and feeds and shoots as expected.

I brought a Bergara Extreme Hunter 18 inch barrel jobbie.
I found Mag too short for required OAL for the projectiles I wanted to use so looks like it might be moved on without firing a shot. Teach me to make rash decisions in a hurry!

My Kimber has a blind mag and I like the way it carries. Bergara was similar but with a 3 round mag.

Nice guns i was torn between the extreme hunter and the tikka. Ended up going with the tikka, both shouldered nice but rhe tikka was just smother in the action and a bit lighter. Happy with the tikka shoots like a laser.
