    Should be under the Joke section. Marlin I believe are now owned my Remington and are being produced from the Remington factories. If Marlin was shutting shop then so would Remington. And who in their right mind would buy a profitable company spending big $$ just to close it? Certainly not someone smart enough to amass the fortune to buy it.
