I bought one of those camping / folding 4wd shovels of Trade me a year or so back. You know the ones that fold up and have a pick on the back and can be used as a grubber.......Well it arrives and it was small. The shovel blade was 3 inches wide and nearly 6 inches long, and with the handle extension in it was nearly as big as the hand trowel that my wife uses in the garden. I guess it is for kids to get the Match box toys unstuck cos it would take weeks to move enough dirt / or sand to clear a car. Upside is it will fit in the glove compartment along side the CDs, cell charger and torch....

I've been in the bush all week and realised some of my hunting habits have tended towards wank factor. When I ranged a Rusa stag on a slip it was 498y....I moved back to the next little flat spot (505y) just so the shot was over 500. in hindsight that was pretty wanky.

270 must be really hard to find to and it is definitely not a wank factor caliber

If you think about it, buying anything more expensive or flasher than the basic minimum required has a wank factor.

So basically anyone using anything more than a bush ranger in 7.62x39 or a dirty old sporterised (wank value?) .303 is adding wank value as that is all you need to shoot deer and pigs!

    Fuck, I'm a wanker!

I don't care that there are no elephant in NZ, I still want a .470 Double!

Hah I've got a 7.62x39 bush ranger and I thought I was a wanker for being such a cheapskate! But hey its marginally more accurate than an SKS.

My wankery lies in my toolbox at work.. Sometimes I'll open a drawer and wince over something I paid a ton for but only use once in a blue moon. That's why we call the Snap-On truck 'the rape train'

If it wasn't for wank factor any sport or hobby would be boring as fuck.
