    Warne sling swivel stud rail accessory - tested - photo essay

    Was looking for an option to attach a picatinny bipod to my rifles without having to drill additional holes in the stocks to mount conventional rails. Came across a Warne sling swivel rail attachment so thought would try out. Fitted and tested today, works great so thought would share as may be of interest to others. The Warne rail is well made and weighs 2oz. Is a bulkier than a conventional rail but not bad. Is rock solid when fitted and has a rubber gasket on the base to protect the stock. Pictures below…
