    What speed from your .223 with 55grainers???

    Guys,

    As per the title, what sort of speeds are you getting from your .223's when using the 55gr v-maxes??

    Speed and barrel length please.

    My current Sako 75 1 in 8" twist 22 inch barrel likes real light loads
    24.8gn 2206H at 2893fps with the can on, slightly slower unsuppressed.

    Previous M-Bolt 1 in 12" twist, 22 inch barrel
    25.2gn 2206H at 3103fps unsuppressed, slower with the can on.

    Both times I didn't bother with the speed, but went for accuracy.

    I prefer Blitzkings, not quite as explosive, so better on the goats.

    Haven't got v maxes, but got the chrony here to try the Hornady stuff out and see what it's doing. It is a 55 grainer though.

    From a Tikka T3, 3251 fps from 26 grains of BM2 with CCI 400 Primer from a 19 inch 1:12 twist barrel with Gunworks can on it
