whats the cheapest scope you run

out of the more low end budget scopes what do you run and have had a good run out of ive got nikko stirlings on a lot of my rifles and have a good run they all hold zero don't know about dialing as cant be stuffed with that I just use hold over if I have to got an arctic fox that ive never heard of before that came on a rifle its been fine as well so its stayed on it also got a pretty sure its Japanese tasco and a couple of bushnell banners and bushnell ar optics all are fine for what I use them for

Got a leupold 2-7 firedot with German 4 ret.
Cost me Less that 400ish new but I love the thing. Light and compact and I carry a larger more expensive scope in my daybag if I need to shoot further than happy with the Leupold.
Think that is the cheapest one yet used the most.

leupolds...now own and use 3 of the old M8 4x jobbies...they are awesome, the older 3x9x40mm nikko stirling gold crowns have the best field of view of ANY scope we have put them up against, pity the quality went down the crapper 20 ish years ago.

I had a Nikko Stirling 4x32 had the shit kicked out of it on a 30/06 fell down a few banks into a couple of creeks and never lost zero
    never trusted the variable scopes,
Leupold would be the lowest quality scope I would hunt with quite like the 2.5x8 had a 1.5-5x20 that is a great bush scope very good optics
have some Khales that I will never sell or trade unless it is for a Zeiss.
Buy the best scope you can afford you will never regret it.

one that has surprised the shit out of me is currently sitting on my Finnbear 270, it's a High Country 3-9x40 which I believe is a Tasco, it's had a few knocks and scrapes but dials are positive and accurate, it's clear as and has held zero so far, I really can't fault it.
I would like to at some stage replace it with something with a little more power say up to 12x but no idea what period scope would be worth replacing it

    I had a Kilwell Gamekeeper 2.5x20 on my 308 from 1992 until a year ago, cost $135.95.
My 223 wears a Bushnell Buckhorn 3-9x32, cost $153 in 1994. Only complaint is magnification ring is very hard to move.
I still have the original boxes for both scopes, complete with price tags.

Old fixed 6 power Leupold , got it secondhand years ago ( dont remember how much but it wouldnt have been more than $250 ) and it is just a great simple scope on my .223
I only own another three scopes , all European , all exspensive compared to the Leupold but that old 6 power has never failed me and it has bounced a few thousand Kilometers on the dash of the ute .

Nikko Stirling NightEater, very good for the money with 1000's of rounds put through a 223 . Never lost zero and with the LRX recticle and Strelock I got out to over 450 mtrs with it on rabbits.

Now have a Nighteater on my 17 HMR, nice fine cross hairs. Blurs out on higher end of the mag range but again punching well above it's price tag.

Back in the early 90's I bought my first 6.5x55 it was a 96 Mauser that came equipped with a 4 power gold crown, that scope went from there to a 44 magnum, then various 22's etc it finally was given away to some one on here a few years ago, for all I know it is probably still running.
Sight and set.It never missed a beat
Cheapest scope I have now is a VX3 2.5-8x36 sitting on a 9.3x62. really like that scope.
