    Oh I neglected to say in the first post I have been out hunting with a few young kids & women & i think a cartridge like this has a bit more of a edge than the 223Rem & 300BLK for the beginner/learner, my mates daughter has her own (well was) 6X45 in a L461 Sako & it has killed very well but I don't let her shoot difficult shots just on dark near the bush edge either !
