Or just be a real man and buy a musket. It'll kill the temptation to buy suppressor-schmuppresors, or any other girly gimmicks.

Did Captain Cook use a DPT or a Dan Hardy? Case closed.

So after these comments I guess I have to send my next rifle down to Gunworks to get fitted with a can.

I would suggest all suppressor manufacturers have failures at times. But when you do have an issue its the when and how of "putting right" which is important.
Either the manufacture steps up and and helps to sort the problem (be it their mistake or not) or doesn't as the case may be.
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

Shot a few hundred rounds through my rifle with a Gunworks maximus, the thing operates like a dream.

I shoot alot of black powder both muzzleloader and breach loader but I still prefer my suppressor on a modern bolt action for hunting
Captain cook would of used it if he had it by the way

To say 90% of gun shops sell them is not unusual, most gun shops sell any make you require, what makes the big difference to a salesman, is the service from the supplier, and one company stands out from the rest by a long way.

Bunch of cry babies, I have 3 cans including one on the 338 Lapua as well as 3 Hardy barrels they all shoot very well. I have had nothing but excellent service from Ian at Hardy Rifle. I find if you have an issue its best to talk to the guys who made it "FIRST" instead of slagging off like a keyboard warrior. But hey that's just my experience. I tend to spend more time actually shooting than typing.

    Well said Dermastor.

I've had dealings with all of NZ's main suppressor manufacturers & can say that they all bring something good to the industry

Dan's a very clever, talented guy & sometimes can be a very misunderstood individual but his suppressors & barrels are cutting edge & very well made.
