    Winchester Wildcat

    Gidday, looking at different options for a 22 semi. Anyone have a Winchester Wildcat or know anything about them? Decent cheap option or not?

    Don't get one of those. They are rubbish, not made in the US, Turkey I think.

    Get a Ruger and build it up over the years with upgrades if budget is a concern.

    Haven't decided on anything yet, just seeing if there's anyone with good or bad experiences with them. Quite like the small section of pic rail on the forestock!

    Keen on a semi for a bit of extra fun is all.

    Unless you are into modding (I'm not) the Marlin Semis are hard to beat on the things that matter. I currently use a Model 795.
