    A beer can is too thin. 0.75 mm aluminium is used for flashings so talk to a plumber. It should shift your point of impact down 600 to 800 mm at 100 metres and get you into your adjustment range.

    Yeah, poi will come down about 4mm, won't change the bore to scope axis which is the problem. Shim or get the right tapered rail

    More correctly- point of aim would come down a few mm, the poi a few mm higher.
