    First one for spring

Went for a well executed morning hunt today in a doc block ive never been too before, A few hours planning over google earth and we were into it. Getting in on the action early! We sidled an ugly face of native to a desired shooting position and quickly nailed this nice hind. Unfortunately she was pregnant my bad team. 478 yards with the .260 rem. Carried her out of the ugly native valley whole

Well done, bro. That's a really low drag haircut you're rockin' at the moment.

Yeah bro found out I inherited my grandfathers male pattern baldness. Started thinning at the back. Would rather rock the skinhead if you know what I mean. Cheers bro

Anyone that hauls arse around that country deserves their success.

For eating I reckon this is the best time of the year to shoot hinds and does. They are usually in their best condition and don't have a fawn or big foetus dragging off them. I never worry about shooting the odd one up to towards the end of this month.

Cheers mate! I also followed your advice after reading your comments on field dressing and left the brisket intact. Made it much more comfortable thanks again mate.

Nice going, I wouldn't worry to much about taking a hind now, it happens. I seen a hind and two yearlings yesterday and shot the yearlings not the hind, but I had a choice which made it easier. Enjoy the meat you earned it in that country
