    As the old boys say at work. P pads are a life saver. bit of closed cell foam taped together works well and is light and warm

    Well done. Don't worry about shooting a pregnant hind. Better to shoot them carrying rather than feeding. Hinds in the wild are predominantly doing one of the two (outside of weaning) unless they are dry.To be frank everyone should be shooting more hinds and less stags. Not sure where you hunt to find fat deer Tahr, but most deer I shoot at this time of year in the bush are skinny. Often really skinny. I find end of winter is the toughest time to find fat deer unless they have been on good grass or a crop. Keep up the good work young fella.
