Thread: First solo hunt

Great story, solo hunts really make you appreciate the effort and mental toughness required to just keep going when it gets tough.
The tahr probably had pink eye which causes blindness, usually caught from grazing with sheep. Still unusual that it seemed to die of fright. A work mate of mine said he saw a couple of blind tahr up on middle Mt Peel if anyone wants to cull them. I'm not sure if they are still good to eat if they have it.
