Bunji was probably one of the tourists that reported seeing the moose

Maybe the moose are cruising in the UFO with Bigfoot and Elvis? It would explain why their only seen occasionally

    Haha.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

What sort of scientific approach has been taken?

For the Sika cull in Northland they seem to be able to know everything about them through scat and hair and water sampling. How many, where they come from, family groups and all manner information. Even now down to the number left (which is very few).

I know its different with moose cos there isn't physical evidence, but science must be able to tell us something?
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

As a 17yr old, this city boy went on his very first hunting trip into the awe inspiring Ureweras.

My first question was if I saw a moa, do I shoot it?

I was told by the oldest (and wisest) of our party.

If you see one and shoot it, they'll lock you up.

And if you see one and tell anyone, they'll lock you up.

Mum's the word. I never saw one.

Original poster I would like nothing better than a real sighting.
    Then what happens?
