Finally some snow, great effort, thank you for sharing!
Or you can stay within 300 yards and keep life a lot simpler.

Nice. What a cool spot, and a decent number of animals too.

Great video. That MSR (or copy) tent, didn’t like the snow!

Nice block that one. Bet the nights were cold and long.
One of those stags would have made a huge trophy if given 5 years to live. This is happening too often in there now and will be the downfall of the trophies in there. There is a lot of crap bloodlines in there but some very good ones as well. Have hunted it for 20 years and we left one stag for 4 years in a row and we shot him as a 9 year old that scored 367DS, well worth the wait.

Great vid and it looks like you had a lot of fun in spite of the snow.
@Puddleduk, each to their own. Post a pic of the head you mentioned?

Absolutely each to their own but better to take a hind rather than young stags with very good genes in my opinion. Will post a pic of the stag I mentioned if allowed, was my mates turn too shoot and will ask his permission first, I doubt he will agree. Also that area was meant to be poisoned but has been put off till next year.

Yea mate I agree I would have liked to see them live also but we split into 2 groups and that was the other group. We were under the impression that the 1080 was getting dumped end of July?? All the meat was carried out and is now feeding family’s.
Would also love to see a pic of the stag
