    Checked with my cousin the mechanic. He reckons it’s normal for a cold d max to idle up to about 1100rpm after starting when cold, but it should soon drop back to about 900. If idle remains high, it may be the ecu. The system has no adjustments as it’s all computerised. He suggests not worrying unless idle stays high.
