I got a set of the MT's Munsey, had them on my courier for a couple years and now on my hilux, still got decent tread, go well off road, typical MT handling on road (understeer if pushed hard into corners in the wet) but nothing that tyres worth twice as much wouldn't do.

    Priced Coopers $460 vs $165 . Are they 3 times better ?

I'd dive into a set Munsey. I did that a couple of years ago with my MT's, in a much less known brand, and very impressed with them. There is a more road oriented tyre in the same brand for $129 at tyreshoponline, but I wouldn't look past that deal you found.

Interesting my Pajero had done 70K on its current set before I punctured one with a rock, Replaced 2 to keep them balanced and front 2 have now done another 10K and still OK but not great. Before I got it the truck was owned (still is) by my brother ( hes a great brother to loan me his truck indefinitely) and most of the driving on the original tyres was open road type driving between Ashburton and Christchurch
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

The 2 BFGs I recently replaced on my Pajero were $500 per tyre fitted and balanced, best price I could get FWIW thru Local firestone dealer in Nelson, Beurepaires were $110 per tyre dearer (including "discount" and fitting/balancing was extra)

no not even twice, if you where close by you could take the pajero for a cane and try the tyres out, I push them hard though the corners and have no worries about them, at that price what have you got to lose you will be converted, check out their load rating pretty high compared to others.
