I will look into the price difference between a 530 CCA and say 650 CCA and decide. If the battery is new and looked after rather than half tired like @Rushy I am hoping it should be good to go.
I like the idea of a second battery and was going to have one up front for electronics to run off.
Is it a good idea to have the "House" battery ready to boost the starting battery if it needs to for some reason? If so what size cable would be able to carry enough juice to help?
Your house battery would have to be as big, so put it at the rear as well and run smaller cables to your electronics, you'll need a switch inline so you can charge both from the outboard
