    Are your batteries in good nick and you are sure the engine is being spun fast enough?

    No leaks around the filter or priming pump letting air into the system?After your last experiance with the local mechanics I would be be concentrating on this area.

    maybe they took the priming pump off and lost the copper washer?

    Just because you have power on the rack,does not mean one or more glow plugs are not getting sad.Take them out and check.

    IF non of that works just sell it to me please.
