Update: On saturday after believing I've got nothing to lose I pulled out the dpf and started blasting the inside of the dpf water from the exit, making sure not to damage the core. A lot of shit came out, continued to do this until water ran clear, repeated process half dozen times. Replaced dpf started car, still got codes, managed to erase codes.
Today took it for a drive into town, 10 min drive, did a bit of fishing at Puktirini lake for 2 hours, caught nothing, then drove home. Got 500m from my house and the damn warning lights came on again and power dropped off, same p2002 code. noticed the brake pedal was a little stiff and fuel consumption especially at idle was a little high, when I first got the car it would idle at .6L/hour but for the last few months including today it sits at .8L/hour.
Fcuk I hate this car.
