This guy doesnt do anything by halves, so there must be very good reasons, and it is not all about the $$ with him either.

This Aussie article is a very good read comparing the majority of utes that are available here as well.....

It should be a right to own a 3.2 litre ute! But I see it's a privilege

The new one was supposed to be here now but won't be until next year, don't want to buy the one I have & keep it until then....

I will need another in three years time so the new one might be sorted by then if it ever gets here

The other small issue I have is it has to have a flat deck...... well sides suck........

I can swap the decks over on the Hilux again effectively saving 3-3.5K.

I really wanted to get the VW last time but it was going to cost me around 10k more than the Hilux.....Yeah Nah....thanks all the same.....

I will have a look/drive in some of the others, I might even get an Auto

Still have my King Tony tool kit from last one, unopened even

I'm happy with my new hilux . The 5 year deal was the clincher really . Builder in chch brought a vw , had to give it too his wife as not enough power to tow his trailer &plant(aka boat)

If you are a Holden man then the logical choice would be DMAX as it comes under the GM banner and was sold as a Holden Rodeo in a previous life. They get pretty good reviews and a big following in Africa.

    429 Hemi's. That's a big bus. How many Rangi's and Whetu's?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

i hate how all the new utes have gone away from having tie down points on the outside of the tray so they can "look pretty" bit useless if you ask me
