Would want to get something I can get closish to the original '71 170HP, which will be more like 140-150 modern HP. Computer managed fuel injection has to be better than old school carbs to keep tuned.
Will have to add on raw water pump, heat exchanger, doctor the exhaust to take the raw water after the heat exchanger. If I start with a complete vehicle everything to run the engine should be there.
Be good to hook up a hose to the sump that could be poked through the drain hole of the hull for oil changes.
