    Road User Charges

    Has anyone else recieved an email from LTSA saying that they must apply for a new licence before 31 July ?

    Yep, they are a scam.
    I've received emails to renew my rego yet never given my email to them.

    Guess it would pay to get some before the new fuel tax on the 1st of July.
    I suppose the diesel one will go on road user charges.

    Fuel specials,drove pass a gas station in Timaru last Wednesday.Diesel only $1.55/litre.I thort that was cheap.

    You only have to drive to the suburb in Auckland and the price of fuel can be 40 cents different.

    I think they limit your purchase (according to your usage) and if you bought too much,
    you will need to surrender your RUC license and get a refund.
    Don't know how it actually works but I know to getting a refund from LTNZ will take months. (8 months in my case)
