    Whoa back there fella... Adjust your figures for age and speed of fire development (as a factor of damage caused) and then run the numbers.

    Also total risk from compounds generated from the combustion and gassing off processes is horrific with EV batteries, them bastards are WAY more toxic than any other vehicle fire. The figure was something like up to 3000 gallons of toxic gasses per kWH of capacity - which it lots.
