    Sheeshh

It was dark they don't know the roads I have no idea what tea rooms they stopped at what shopping they did nor do they three weeks after the event none of us know the towns or area, a photo of the driver would help!

"I'm sure I read on here somewhere A very respected person once said it was unbelievable how some people wasted their lives worrying about menial shit....."

Again thank you for your opinion and spending the time to provide such insight, thank you.

Can you advise me how I can keep track of three vehicles with multiple legal drivers even when I am not around, what if they don't fill in a log just take it legally remember I am in the other side of the country on occasion?

    QUOTE]

If you can't the answer is simple, Don't allow others to drive your vehicles as clearly the Idea of being responsible for a fine that wasn't incurred by you but someone you trust with your vehicles is just too much to bear. Stop hiding behind a b.s excuse your not anyone's hero on here because of it.

So how do you do it do no family or friends get to use your 1 or ? vehicle,

    lock the keys up?

Wife gets the bus (that's assuming the wife gets out on her own)?

    Kids get taxis and bus?

    Normal household then?

Oh we live 11 k from the nearest town not many buses here.

Again thank you for your opinion and spending the time to provide such instructive and helpful insight, thank you.

The cameras are fit for purpose. Purpose being revenue gathering.

They probably have 1/1000 people who actually genuinely argue about quality of the photo. Therefore hard to justify added expense of updating equipment when they are clearly fit for purpose.

Do you keep a driver log is it up to date what method have you in place when not at home to police your log.

What disciplinary procedures have you in place for failure to adhere to your log.

Could I have a copy of your log procedures, I would appreciate your assistance as may others.

We cant see anyone in the vehicle photo, fit for purpose?

I will play along as you are clearly having a slow day...

I don't keep a driver log and see no reason too as no one else drives my car

2nd question is not applicable as above

3rd question is not personally applicable to me however the usual procedure is:
    Date of journey
    Opening odometer reading
    Closing odometer reading
    Purpose of journey
    Name and signature of driver
If not completed in full it usually means less of company vehicle/priviledge. You could apply the same to your mrs

Yes the camera is fit for purpose you numpty, it clearly captured your licence number plate.

Yip that's what I thought but I gave you the benefit of doubt, Cheers.

Obviously not no ones paying the fine, what a poor system and equipment.

Thank you for such helpful input.

well if you arent prepared to take responsibility for the vechile that is registered in your name I guess you best pull plates off it and let rego lapse and ride a horse from now on...
I own 2 private vechiles and keeping track of who went where when ISNT HARD 3 weeks ago isnt a long time, you know it was 1 of 2 persons..BOTH are your family, are you the man of the household or not???? take responsibility and pay the damn fine...you dont deny its your car and its breaking the law so pay up...if it was your dog and it bit the postman would it be another family members fault because you arent home???its till your dog and ultimately your responsibility.
if your water pipes burst and flooded the neighbours house ,garden, garage full of inflatable dolls would it be your responsibility to pay for damages or the last person from your house hold to flush the loo and walk out the door???again its your house, your pipes your responsibility which would probably be taken care of by insurance company if you have insurance again your responsibility...... I paid the one and only speed camera fine Ive got and I KNOW for a FACT that I wasnt driving that vechile at that time...however my log book said I was so sucked it up and paid it...lesson learnt and it wont ever happen again.

In aussie if the driver wasn't you, there is a statutory declaration (stat dec for short) that has to be filled out and signed by a JP, nominating the driver in question.
If its a company car the fine gets multiplied by 5 if you chose not to do that to make you pay it.

Did the statutory declaration none of us can honestly say who was driving and its illegal to lie and pervert the course of justice which could also come back to bite you if you lie.

I stated it was not me and asked for the photo thinking soon present the speeder with the prize unfortunately you cant see if anyone is even in the vehicle passenger or driver.

Are these cameras fit for purpose?

You don't have to make any statutory declaration to just man up and pay the ticket do you?
