Thing is what else do you buy? They all seem to have issues of one sort or another. Are the Rangers just cursed by their own popularity? ie there are so many of them around that faults of some sort are bound to show up.

I don't own one and never have. However, I have a need for a tow vehicle upgrade. 6.5m pontoon boat.

I couldn’t resist. I was a Duckie Johnson fan in a former life.

    Thanks for the feedback team.

FWIW, currently have 3 of the 3.2 litre Rangers in the fleet ... for our purposes they have been fine, but fuel consumption compared to the 3.2litre manual BT50's they replaced is crap. Other than that no unanticipated issues.

Im a careful lady driver. My 3.2L averages 10.2 L/100 for tarmac driving. Gets up around 10.8-11 on the rough. How does that compare with the Mazda?
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.
