That’s a bugger Woody. It was a bloody good idea. Thanks for trying.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

It's the medication, 4 ol'guys would have enough meds to carry it would fill a chilly bin on it's own.

Correct. Not even enough allowance for a dog. Dripping party to three would be getting very oricey. It seems like there is interest if I had dropped the age to 55+. Initially though I hoped for an eady terrain block with good deer number for old plodders who wouldnt be kutrun by younger men. Will be another opportunity sometime, maybe next march as soon as the blocks reopen. Want to avoid real cold and avoid blocks already thrashed later in the available window. Will work out something in the future. Steep terrain is too harsh to be pleasant for older troops and poses risks to them. TK would have been good.

Might be better to get a drive in block rather than chopper...long gone are the days when a squirrel could easily (well easily maybe the wrong word) take 4 guys, 3 dogs and a shitload of booze and food and fly into the higher Kaimanawa areas...and then manage to fly out with 6 deer, well what was left of them after feasting for a week on them.

what about another block? maybe drive in. @Maca49 did you have a Fallow block you hunted? or something like Sunny Face lodge, or Brads was doing hunting on his farm I think. It's too good an idea to let this go.

We are all a couple years older now I would be interested. 63 is the magic number now.
But like @Cigar said earlier feel a lot older at times.

I qualify by age now (well in six weeks I do). If the heart of this gets a kick start then I would be interested in tagging along.
