    Considered it, but $445 plus accommodation is getting pretty steep. Looks like an awesome event though

    30 km Mountain Bike.

    Well that wasn't the smartest thing I did last week. But was definitely memorable and enjoyable.
    Climbed about six hundred meters in the first ten kms (don't mind admitting I did a bit of walking) . And then dropped most of that in about the next three kms. I did a bit of walking on the steep down bits too.
    The rest was quite manageable contour.
    Really cool ride and great atmosphere.
    If anyone is considering it, I'd recommend entering.

    It is a bit demoralising when you are busting your arse up a hill then some ebiker boosts passed hardly cracking a sweat.

    That is the way I think too, but each to their own. And good on them for being out doing stuff like that.
    And I did hear a couple of them talking about how they wouldn't be out biking if it wasn't for ebikes.

    Totally agree, just having fun. It's us and us, not them and us. Im just jealous tbh
