Interesting question...

I have some Lowa Z-8S GTX boots, haven't really got into heavy duty stuff with then but they have been wet... I used the spray then the cream recommended by Lowa, yes it's their product so of course they suggest it.. the bloke who sold them to me took me through the guff in the box re looking after them and warranty items... interesting to see that no bee's wax or other products are mentioned due to certain ingredients being harmful to stitching and so on, probably worth having a look at the Asolo website and seeing if there is anything there...jmo
