serious, take a few bits of rag. its great for cleaning the scope, washing out wounds, covering wounds, washing your face, wiping your butt,[single use there of course} cleaning your rifle, holding hot pans. wiping out excess blood from animals cavity etc, blowing ya snozz, lots of uses really. cheap too.

My first 10 odd years of hunting was done with a free 303 then a 80 dollar 308(including scope) hand me down steel toe work boots and a home made knife. You dont actually "need" most of the shit we all carry around now but it can make it easier.
If your young just get out there with whatever you have/can borrow.
If your older and just getting into it you can probably afford to buy some flash gear even if just the "essentials"
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

Hay EBF as much as this thread is a fantastic idea for everyone to share Hunting tips and i will be watching carefully to learn some tips
I am feeling festive and will have a look thru my hunting kit for doubleups if you need some gear... Send me a PM of what you need.

Please note that this is not a invite for every man and his dog to send me their wish list.

Good on ya VC, now I know that you are not a cross dresser. It always worried me that your avatar was Dougie. Happy Christmas to you and your family.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
