Thread: DAYBAG or PIKAU for Bush Hunting

    Ive since worked out and changed strapping by simple cut slit down end of strap,heated with bic lighter to stop fraying,then simply feed strap back through itself to form noose to catch corners and balls.... I got a 140ish lb boar into this bag JUST kept hams whole,boned out rest...tied a knot in fabric at top...thats the only time Ive been worried about bag coming undone...faaarkin big load to be sure.

    my bought pikau is a ridgeline one and its got a hemmed seam around mouth of bag...thats got boot lace threaded through it (knew keeping my old wool pack needle would be usefull one day)
