Thread: Difficulty importing GPS map file from GPS file depot into my Garmin

Hey mate,

Just go to https://www.topomap.co.nz/ then click More at the top, then Downloads. If you zoom out a bit you can see all the NZ Topo 50 map references, click the one you're after and it pops up another window with the option: Garmin Custom Map / Google Earth overlay (KMZ file).

Download that and use the Garmin computer App (Basecamp) to load it onto your GPS. You can then load it as a custom map.
