Thread: Down jacket. Stoney creek vs Hunters element

I have one of the wear on earth waterproof puffers. I use it as my winter jacket and it’s excellent. I bought a stuff cell from Kathmandu and it essentially vacuum packs it to a 1” thick square that I lay flat in my pack and takes up basically no room. For the other 3 seasons I use a mont bell alpine light, very light weight and extremely packable, and very warm. I find this covers me year round without being too hot or too cold and both and pretty reasonable prices
